There was once a piece of steel …“. If we wanted to rewrite the story of Pinocchio for our furniture products, it would begin just like that.

Today a growing number of people are inclined to attribute more value to a design object made using a “poor” material instead of an object made with a more “valuable” one, functionally similar, but perceived as less aesthetically and conceptually significant.

In ATMOSFERA ITALIANA we pursue the objective of designing, manufacturing and bringing on the market products of good contemporary design, which can be appreciated by a growing number of people.

We aim to foster a conscious production of objects carrying pleasantness and formal quality, to give our small contribution to the definition of new canons of taste, with no obligation to be approved by the “Masters”.

We want to offer to our customers the opportunity to be in equilibrium with their origins and their culture, to be always in harmony with the environment in which they live.

The furniture proposed by ATMOSFERA ITALIANA begins with small items of common use – such as trays, vases, cases, cutting boards – and then spreads to tables, chairs, cupboards and bookcases.

We and our designers like what we produce, and could not be otherwise.

We are not interested into boasting a twenty-year history: Atmosfera Italiana was officially founded on April 22, 2010. It’s the will to improve our
quality of life that has driven us for many years by now.

We don’t aim at pleasing everyone: our customer is whoever feels at home in our own house, who wants to meet his functional and emotional well-being needs, self-gratification and self care for himself and his family.

We do not use “Italian” because it is fashionable: we rely on our experience to guarantee the excellence of what we offer. Our house is a space designed for us who choose to furnish it with objects of original and contemporary design, for us who choose to put on the table genuine and natural gastronomic specialties, for us who choose to pamper ourselves with fine textile garments of high quality yarn and tailoring.

We do not call our partners “suppliers”: we have selected only small producers of Made in Italy excellence, most of them artisan, all of them friends, people like us who bring passion and enthusiasm in what they do.

We do not deliver our specialities in twenty-four hours: if we offer you a fresh pot, cookies or breadsticks, they will be prepared just for you, because stocked in our warehouse there will never be “already old” products.

We are not the large-scale distribution: some of our products are only available in small quantities and subject to depletion. Food of excellence often follows the seasons, furniture and fine fabrics are not produced on an industrial scale: a limited availability is a guarantee of authenticity and quality.
